Short Bio: In the process of completing my Social Studies licensure to become an educator in either social studies or English. Home from New Orleans Comic Con! Also, I'm Alive

So, it's come to my attention that yet again, I got too busy to do much on deviantArt, though this time I sorta blame getting thrown into the first semester of a second degree and basically flailing in the water for a while right before and after MechaCon. And as to why my journals sorta went AWOL, I don't really know either. Huh. So yeah, New Orleans Comic-Con. I went this year (was Riza Hawkeye on Saturday) and had a pretty awesome time. It's a different feel from MechaCon, and I think I sorta liked the small setting of MechaCon more... but it was really awesome to actually run into people I had met at MechaCon and talked to a few times...

My How Time Flies

Apparently after MechaCon, I hit the ground running with my packed first semester of my second degree... and it hasn't really slowed down until pretty much near finals. So, what's up with me? Mostly weighed down by my five classes at a time load, with ranging from a 100 level to two 400 levels... so it's getting complicated and tricky, and I reaaallly need to crack down on a paper I need to write. I did sort through a lot of my MechaCon pictures but have yet to try and put any of them up. When I get home from school, I'm either reading and doing homework or gaming and relaxing pretty much. MechaCon is right around the corner!

So this year, I'll be attending my first ever convention, MechaCon, in New Orleans. I have one costume in the process of being made by a good friend of mine (Rosalind Lutece from Bioshock Infinite is the character), as well as one I got a while back but need to see if it still fits well (Riza Hawkeye from FMA). I'm rather excited, but also nervous. Mostly nervous because my mom is coming with me, and I know a lot of the stuff there just isn't her thing. She wants to make sure I'm able to get there okay and she says she'll mostly just be going do touristy sorta things in New Orleans herself, so I guess it'll be okay... but I'm honestly still
